Focus on abstract painting
Since his exhibition at the Elysées Mermoz, late 2010, Olivier Filippi exhibited in several galleries and Parisian fairs. After the Galerie Jeune Création and the Salon du Dessin Contemporain which was held during the end of March and the beginning of April 2011 at the Carroussel du Louvre where he exhibited with the AL/MA Gallery, he is now presenting his work at the Richard Gallery, together with four other young abstract artists: Erwan Ballan, Nicolas Guiet, Rémy Hysbergue, and Laurence Papouin.
Named «Les Braves», this retrospective highlights the needed bravery to exist as a young abstract painter in France. The opportunity to (re)discover Olivier Filippi’s works, and to learn more about this still neglected particular painting style.
